About Epic Elixirs

Our History
Epic Elixirs was born forth from the ashes in the midst of a cold desert winter in 2008, after 7 years of making our elixirs exclusively for friends, family, and local health shops. You will soon hold in your hand not just a jar of honey, but an elixir of raw, wild, hand-harvested ambrosia from an isolated desert mountain cave.

We handcraft our pristine honey with the most powerful, effective herbs and medicinal foods known to mankind. These foods have a rich, well-documented history of giving rise to vitality, beauty, youth, and longevity. Thus, we have made it easy (and quite delicious) for you to take these essential nutrients on a daily basis through our handcrafted elixirs.

Our Herbs and Honey
We advocate growing wild herbs local and pure, as found in nature. Wild herbs are thousands of times more nutritious than farm raised produce, which are grown in soil that is deprived of many nutrients such as selenium, zinc, and germanium. Even the water used is poor quality and such a waste of resources due to all the transportation...not to mention that most foods are now sprayed, waxed, irradiated and trucked a few hundred or thousand miles to your store.

The foods and herbs we use are grown are in a protected area that belongs to the Tahquitz tribe of Native Americans. This protected sacred land is not accessible to the public and has never been harmed by modern day farming practices. The pristine mountain lake is the only water that nourishes surrounding plants and only we tend to them. What we cannot harvest, we purchase from organic and wildcrafted, sustainable sources of the freshest quality.

After hand-harvesting and handcrafting our elixirs, we pour them into the highest grade dark glass containers available. These amber glass jars are 9 ounces with a wide mouth. Our honey and elixirs have never touched plastic or metal. Our glass jars come from EP Scientific, a state of the art lab that processes and certifies their containers to be sterile, pyrogen-free and nuclease-free to meet the most stringent demands of life science research. No bottles on Earth are more clean and sterile than these.

Our Promise to You
We have handmade some of the highest-quality, freshest, most potent elixirs known to our society. This is a rare find in today's world, and we are glad to bring you what we are all meant to enjoy and benefit from on a daily basis. We hope that our elixirs bring you joy, health, and a delicious taste in your mouth!

Our Facility
We craft our elixirs in our very own gluten-free, casein-free, soy-free, vegetarian apothecary. While honey is not considered a vegan product (it is "beegan" though!), we craft our elixirs without the use of any animal products.

Crafting Elixirs
Our elixirs are made from raw, wild, hand-harvested honey and 100% organic and wildcrafted herbs. After harvesting our honey from its mountain cave, we store it in airtight containers in a chamber away from light and heat. We then carefully select herbs, barks, roots, and berries for their medicinal properties and potency - only the most effective are chosen. Once we have selected and prepared the herbs, we blend them synergistically with our raw honey to form our desserts-with-a-purpose. Finally, our elixirs are hand-packed in our sterile, dark-amber glass jars that are laboratory-tested to keep out light and air for maximum elixir potency and longevity.

Our elixirs are made with absolutely ZERO preservatives, stabilizers, artificial ingredients or additives. Dairy-free, gluten-free, casein-free, soy-free, organic and wildcrafted, and beegan.

Shipping Information
Our apothecary is located in Palm Springs, California. We ship out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Please note that orders are only shipped every Monday. Orders placed after Sunday at 6 pm will not ship the next day (Monday) and will ship the following Monday. Shipping charges might increase based on weight and destination.

Please be mindful that we are not responsible for delays in UPS, USPS, or FedEx service due to weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorist control, or inaccurate shipping information. We are not responsible for replacements or refunds if the shipping address provided is deemed incomplete or invalid, or if the recipient is not available to sign for the package.

Expiry and Usage
Due to the natural preservative and antimicrobial nature of honey, it can last thousands of years without expiring. Since we add fresh herbs and foods to our honey, our elixirs will last up to 18 months (perhaps longer) in cool, dark conditions away from light and heat. Refrigeration is not necessary. They are the perfect travel food!

To be sure the fresh herbs and foods do not rise out of the honey and begin to oxidize, it would be best to enjoy your elixir within 3 months of delivery.
